Tell your life story just by talking.
Autobiographer is a warm, patient interviewer on your parent's iPhone. They press one big button and talk. It listens, asks good questions, and remembers everything they've said.
Good afternoon.
Last time you were telling me about moving to Spokane.
Ready when you are.
It's just a conversation.
No typing, no prompts, no blank page. Your parent taps once to start and once to finish. Most sessions run 30 to 60 minutes, and each one picks up where the last left off.
Last time you were telling me about moving to Spokane. Do you want to pick up there?
Yes, let's. We drove out in August of '58, the four of us in Dad's old Hudson. I cried most of the way through Montana because I'd had to leave Dot behind.
She was my best friend. I didn't see her again for almost twenty years.
That's a long time. You mentioned Dot. What was her last name?
It listens
It never interrupts and is comfortable with long silences. One question at a time, at your parent’s pace.
It follows up
Like a good interviewer, it notices the details worth asking about: a name, a date, a place that came up in passing.
It remembers
Each session builds on the last. It returns to open threads, checks spellings it wasn’t sure of, and steers clear of topics you’ve marked off-limits.
How it works
You set it up for them
Create their account, add a few things the interviewer should know, and we’ll email them a sign-in link. No passwords to remember.
They talk
Whenever they feel like it. One big button, no settings, no menus. They can choose the interviewer’s voice if they like.
You read and listen
In the family viewer you’ll find every recording, a transcript, and a growing record of the people, places and years in their life.
An archive, not just recordings.
Everything they tell it becomes something you can keep, search, and pass down.
- Their voice, kept for good
- The original audio is treated as irreplaceable. It survives dropped connections, phone calls and crashes, and it’s stored permanently with backups.
- Accurate transcripts
- With names spelled the way your family spells them. You can correct any it gets wrong.
- People, places and a timeline
- An organized record of who and what came up, and when. It’s the raw material for a written life story.
- A written autobiographyComing later
- We're working on turning the archive into a book you can read and print.

Their stories belong to your family.
This is your family's legacy. We will never sell, trade, or transfer it to a third party for marketing or sales purposes.
Only the people you choose
Recordings and transcripts are visible to your parent and the family members you invite. No one else.
Some things stay private
Your parent can ask for part of a conversation to be kept private, and you can mark topics the interviewer shouldn’t raise.
Download everything
Audio and transcripts in ordinary file formats, any time you want them.
Delete when you decide
Remove a single conversation or the whole account. Deleted means deleted.
Simple, by the minute
One flat fee includes a set number of recorded minutes. When they've more to say, add more.
Final pricing will be shared with beta families before launch.
Questions
My parent isn’t comfortable with technology. Will this work?
That’s who it’s made for. After you set it up, they see one large button. There are no settings to change and nothing to type. They tap to start, talk, and tap when they’re done.
What do they need?
An iPhone running iOS 27 and an internet connection. They sign in with a link or a 6-digit code we email them. There’s no password. You can read and listen from any web browser.
What if the call drops or the phone rings?
Nothing is lost. The recording is saved on the phone as they talk and uploaded when it can be, so it survives dropped connections, phone calls and crashes.
Can I guide what it asks about?
Yes. You can suggest topics for next time and mark subjects as off-limits. The interviewer raises suggestions gently, one at a time, and your parent can always skip one.
Is the interviewer a real person?
No. It’s an AI, and the app tells your parent so before the first conversation. The voice runs on Google’s Gemini Live, and Anthropic’s Claude does the note-taking and planning in the background.
Will it write a book?
Not yet. A written autobiography is coming later. Every conversation you record now becomes material for it.
How much will it cost?
A flat fee that includes a set number of recorded minutes, with more available whenever you need them. We’re still settling the numbers and will share them with beta families first.
Is it available now?
